Meet Your Ward Team

Meet your Councillors, Safer Neighbourhood Team, Street Environment Officer and Neighbourhood Management Officer.  Discuss the plans for the new play area at Grange Lane Park with the Project Officer.

Minutes:

Residents had the opportunity to speak with Councillors Steve Galloway and Andrew Waller; Jackie Armitage (Street Environment Officer); Gordon Loftus and Nigel Fairbairn (Group Response); PC Colin Park , PC Mark Antonelli, and other members of the Safer Neighbourhood Team; Paul Morrison (Tenancy Services Manager), Noel Collings (Sustainability Project Officer); Simon Haddock (Community Leisure Officer) and Kate Bowers and Julie Hood (Neighbourhood Management).

 

Approx. 40  residents attended, some of whom requested a meeting with Senior Council Officers in respect of their concern regarding an individual resident.  It was stated that individual cases cannot be discussed due to privacy and data protection but a meeting will be arranged where residents can  access information regarding housing processes and policies.

6.45pm Grange Lane Play Area

Then cycle to Batchelor Hill

Minutes:

The cycle ride passed through the Grange Lane Play Area and identified several areas which need clearing of rubbish and cutting back.

7.00pm Batchelor Hill

Then cycle to Thoresby Road parking area

Minutes:

Areas in need of some improvement were identified and noted

7.15pm Thoresby Road parking area

Cycle to the Acorn Rugby Club to finish

Minutes:

This area has been identified, by residents, as in need of parking spaces.  Options were discussed which will be investigated with funding options identified.

12.

7.45pm Acorn Rugby club

Minutes:

Some contact details for other organisations were requested.  These will be passed on as soon as possible.
