o   Fire & Rescue Services.

The Ward Committee Informal Information Fair was held at Earswick Village Hall on Wednesday the 20^th of July from 5.00pm-7.00pm.Due to the rain the planned venue, the  Earswick Scented Garden, was not appropriate to hold the event.

Residents from the Ward took the opportunity to meet with Councillor Sian Wiseman on a one to one basis and raise any  concerns and  issues in the Ward.

The Strensall Ward Team:

·        Street Environment Officer-Iain Dunn

·        Safer Neighbourhood Team- PCSO Jo Lane and Jimmy Hannon.

·        Neighbourhood Management Officers- Carolyn Perry, Elizabeth Mower and Michael Hawtin.

Consulted and engaged with the Residents and the representatives from community organisation individually. Discussions round possible local Improvement Schemes and advice given about the scheme/grant suggestion process. Encouragement was given to the Residents to have their say by using the scheme suggestion forms in the Your Ward publication and participating in the Ward Committee Meetings. Your Ward and scheme suggestion forms and grant application packs were given out given on request. Some residents requested  for an electronic grant packs-

·        Pamphlets and information were given out about their organisation and services that they provide to the community in the Strensall ward.

Refreshments- Cordial and water were serviced during the event.
