Surgery

An opportunity for residents to meet with the ward councillors, Madeleine Kirk and Sian Wiseman; the Neighbourhood Management Officer, Ginnie Shaw; and representatives from the Safer Neighbourhoods Team, Street Environment Services, Children and Young People’s Services and the local parish councillors

Minutes:

1.1       Residents had the opportunity to speak with Cllr. Madeleine Kirk, Cllr. Sian Wiseman, Angus Young (Street Environment), Judith Ward (Allotments Officer), John Roberts and Gail Goodall (City Strategy), PC Alex Dobson and PCSO Tom Laurie from the Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and Ministry of Defence PC Andy Simpson

1.2       The minutes of the last meeting were approved and signed

Tour round the Sensory Garden

Residents will be able to take a tour of the Earswick Sensory Garden

Local allotments

Residents will be able to find out about local allotment provision and get advice about what they can sow in their gardens from Judith Ward (Allotments Officer)

3.1  Residents had the opportunity to speak with Judith Ward, CYC Allotments Officer; ask questions about local allotment provision and obtain advice about planting in July

4.

Local Development Framework (LDF)

A stall will be present with information on the Local Development Framework.

Minutes:

4.1  Residents had the opportunity to find out about the Local Development Framework and ask questions of John Roberts and Gail Goodall (CYC City Strategy)

Have Your Say

Throughout the meeting, residents will be able to raise issues and concerns with their ward councillors

Minutes:

5.1      Residents had the opportunity to ask questions of their ward councillors and were encouraged to submit ideas and suggestions for local improvement  schemes for 2010/11 by completing the form on the inside back page of the July Your Ward Newsletter.
