A chance to talk to your local Ward Councillors, Street Environment Officer and Neighbourhood Management Officer. 

Local Residents had an opportunity to speak to their local Councillors, Safer Neighbourhood Police Team, Street Environment Officer, Youth Workers and  Neighbourhood Management Officer. 

The following activities and information stalls and activities were available:

Bring along your bike to have it security tagged for free, making it easier for the Police to return it to you if it is stolen.

Visit the Mobile Police Office and meet your local Police Officers

A mobile youth club for anyone aged 11-19 years.  Activities, information, computer access, DVD’s and refreshments on board.

Your chance to let your local councillors know how you would like to spend the ward committee budget in 2009/2010.  Suggestions are welcome from everyone who lives in the ward, including children and young people.

Young People were invited to let local Councillors know what activities and facilities they would like in the ward. The following suggestions were made:

·        To have a vegetable patch where young people can grown their own vegetables

·        A games room

·        A lake

·        Using land near Hurst Hall as a BMX facility
