At this point in the meeting, Members and co-opted members are

(2) Disclosable pecuniary interests relate to the Member

concerned or their spouse/partner.

 

(3) Members in arrears of Council Tax by more than two months

must not vote in decisions on, or which might affect, budget

calculations, and must disclose at the meeting that this restriction

applies to them. A failure to comply with these requirements is a

criminal offence under section 106 of the Local Government

Finance Act 1992.

York and North Yorkshire Climate Change Adaptation Study pdf icon PDF 271 KB

This report provides an overview of the study’s aims and summary findings and invites the Executive Member for Environment and Climate Emergency to endorse the study so it can be used as an evidence base to inform City of York Council (CYC) policy and practice.

                   i.        Endorsed the study, in line with the report’s recommendation, and formerly endorsed the York and North Yorkshire Climate Change Risk and Opportunities Assessment (CCROA) so it can be used as an evidence base to inform council policy and practice.

 

Reason:    Endorsement of the study will ensure that council policy and practice continue to be evidence-led. It will underpin robust and informed decision-making and ensure the council’s resources are directed and prioritised to areas and issues that deliver greatest impact.

Decision Report: Application for Community Right to Bid under the Localism Act 2011 pdf icon PDF 235 KB

This report details applications to list the following properties as Asset of Community Value (ACV) for consideration by the Council.

 

a)   Hempland Lane Allotment Community Wildlife Area, Hempland lane, York, YO31 0QG

b)   Hagg Wood, Intake Lane, Dunnington, York, YO19 5HY

 

The applications have been received, for a decision by the Executive Member in the Council’s statutory capacity as an Asset of Community Value (ACV) listing authority.

                      i.         Approved the listing of Hempland Lane Allotment Community Wildlife Area, Hempland lane, York, YO31 0QG Assets of Community Value.

                     ii.         That the decision on listing Hagg Wood, Intake Lane, Dunnington, York, YO19 5HY as Assets of Community Value be deferred until further legal investigation can be completed.

 

Reason:     To ensure the Council meets its legislative obligations (pursuant to the Localism Act 2011 and the Assets of Community Value (England) Regulations 2012) and promotes community access to community facilities.

Any other business which the Chair considers urgent under the

Local Government Act 1972.
