This report asks the Cabinet Member to consider a petition from residents of South Bank Avenue, calling for implementation of traffic calming measures on this road.
Decision:
Resolved: That the Cabinet Member:
(i) Acknowledged the residents’ concerns about the speed of traffic.
(ii) Advised Officers to work with petitioners to help take their concerns through the established speed management process. This evidence based approach will enable the assessment of appropriate options in response to speed concerns on this road.
Reason: To address residents concerns.

The Cabinet Member considered a report which outlined a response to a petition from residents of South Bank Avenue, calling for the implementation of traffic calming measures.
