The Council applied for moving traffic offence
enforcement powers, which have been approved. To enable the Council
to undertake camera enforcement of Moving traffic offences, we need
to ensure that the traffic order, allows for this type of
enforcement, which will require an amendment of the Order.
Decision:
Advertise an amendment to the Traffic Regulation Order and
undertake Statutory consultation to be able to progress with the
camera enforcement of moving traffic offences in the city.

Advertise an amendment to the Traffic
Regulation Order and undertake Statutory consultation to ensure
that the Order is up to date and allows for enforcement action to
be undertaken.

Take no further action and do not undertake
any moving traffic offence enforcement.
