Purpose of report: to seek approval for the council’s Food
Service Plan for 2020-21 in compliance with the requirements of the
Food Law Code of Practice.
The Executive Member will be asked to approve the report and in doing so provide the appropriate Member oversight of the plan.
i. The Food Service Plan was approved.
ii. The Executive Member to be updated on any national policy changes in relation to COVID-19.
Reason: This will ensure that the council has a plan to fulfil its
obligations under the Food Law Code of Practice and remain compliant with national COVID-19 policy.
