Given the short notice of fund being received
and the need to spend it is necessary to involve organisations that
Members have previously agreed to support. This has been discussed
with the Deputy Leader in role as Executive Member for Economic
Development and Community Engagement
Corporate Director of Economy and Place approved the decision to
make grants totalling £33,000:-
•York Bid £27,300 for additional York City Centre
Cleaning
•Friends of Acomb Green for a Community Clean Up Day
£4,500
•Acomb Alive £1,200 for improving seat furniture.
The remaining funds will be retained by CYC to ensure the
monitoring and reporting is undertaken in line with financial
regulations.
