Purpose of Report: To notify the Executive Member of a petition received and the work currently in progress to address the issues raised. Crossing improvements at this location are being investigated as a School Safety scheme in this year’s Transport Capital Programme.
The Executive Member is asked to note the petition and officer recommendations.
Decision:
Resolved: That Option (i) be approved.
· For Officers to continue developing proposals as part of this year’s School Safety programme with a view to implementing an appropriate scheme this financial year
Reason: To improve pedestrian crossing facilities on Bishopthorpe Road at its junction with Campleshon Road.
