Purpose:
Purpose of Report: To present the Council's self-assessment narrative for the peer review under the Equalities Framework for Local Government.
The Cabinet Member is asked to agree the narrative for
submission.
The Cabinet Member will take this decision at a public Cabinet Member Decision Session on 25th November 2014.
This decision will now be taken by the Cabinet Member at a public Decision Session on 3 December 2014 in order to allow for further consultation to take place.
Decision:
Resolved: That the narrative submission be finalised and forwarded to the Local Government Association (LGA) in preparation for the assessment in January 2015.
Reason: To assist the Council to continue to improve its performance in equalities.
