Purpose of Report: To update
Cabinet on the arrangements for the staging of the Tour de France,
the accompanying Cultural Festival and the local legacy
arrangements.
Members are asked to note and agree the arrangements put in place
to support the events and the legacy.
Decision:
Resolved: That Cabinet agree to:
(i) Note the success and progress made with the delivery of the Tour de France against the agreed objectives.
(ii) Approve the outcomes detailed in the report.
Reason: To ensure the successful delivery of the Tour De France events in York and support York’s cycling legacy.
