Purpose:

Purpose of Report: To update Cabinet on the Health and Wellbeing Board, this includes: It's membership, remit and work programme. The partnership boards that report to it. The Health and Wellbeing Strategy and it's performance framework.

Members are asked to note the update and consider the ongoing development of the Health and Wellbeing Board.

Decision:

RESOLVED: That Cabinet note the content of the report and the implications and risks associated with the transfer of public health into CYC.

REASON: To ensure that Members are aware of the heightened role of the local authority in public health from 1^st April 2013.
