Purpose of report: The report contains a list of admission limits entry into schools in September 2009.
Members are asked to note the contents of the report and agree with
the recommendations of the Local Admissions Forum
Decision:
Advice of the Advisory Panel
That the Executive Member for Children’s Services be advised to:
· Approve the City of York co-ordinated schemes and admissions policies for both primary and secondary schools for the 2009/10 academic year as set out in Annex A to the report.
· Approve the proposed individual school maximum admission limits for the academic year beginning in September 2009 as set out in Annex B to the report.
Decision of the Executive Member
RESOLVED: That the advice of the Advisory Panel be accepted and endorsed.
REASON: To meet the statutory requirements of the School Admissions Code of Practice.
