A paper was taken to Executive on 12 September
2024 to inform them about the approach for determining allocations
of the capital and revenue grants to create and expand places for
the delivery of the childcare reforms. At the meeting Executive
members approved;
• The revenue spend to create the new years and wraparound
places to deliver this ambitious programme.
• The delegation of authority to the Corporate Director of
Children and Education, the Director of Governance and the Director
of Finance to develop the grant allocation process, procure and
award and enter into the resulting grant agreements.
An application for the wraparound revenue grant was received for
the July grant round from the following provider –
• Over the Rainbow – to expand after school provision by
10 places
Total funded to be awarded in this round –
£5788.24
