The Council received a request for a residents
priority parking area for Compton Street, Grove View and Rosslyn
Street. It was proposed to extend the nearby R65 zone to include
the above mentioned streets. The Council has undertaken informal
consultation with the residents of the proposed area and the
majority of residents that did respond were in favor of the
proposed scheme.
Options Considered:
Advertise an amendment to the Traffic
Regulation Order and undertake Statutory consultation with the
residents on the proposed scheme.
Take no further action on a residents priority parking scheme of
the above mentioned streets and remove the area from the waiting
list.
