The Local Plan was adopted by Full Council on
27 February 2025. This now forms part of the development plan for
the city.
Full Council resolved to delegate authority to the Director of City
Development for:
• publishing the Local Plan, agreeing any further non-material
minor corrections and factual updates and publishing of the adopted
Local Plan and Policies Map;
• agreeing correspondence relating to adoption including the
adoption statement, Sustainability Appraisal Report and
communications regarding the plan in accordance with Regulation 26
of the Town and Country Planning Act 2012 (as amended).
This decision is to publish the following documents:
• The Local Plan Policies Map, incorporating non-material
minor corrections and factual updates as detailed in the Briefing
Note (Annex A).
• To make non-material minor corrections and factual updates
to the Local Plan (Annex B)
