Decision details

Purpose of Report: The report will acknowledge the ePetition, will present some initial context in terms of the subject of the ePetition “CYC solve the York University related parking, don't just MOVE it” and will present options in terms of responding to the ePetition. This relates to the recently implemented Badger Hill resident parking scheme and the links with the University and the scheme.

The Executive Member will be asked to note the acknowledgement of the receipt of the ePetition, note the context of the petition and consider options for responding to the ePetition.

Resolved:

                      i.         Approved the increased engagement of the School Travel team with the Archbishop Holgate School and University of York.

Reason:     To help educate and encourage staff and students to

utilise alternative modes of transport and help reduce impact on nearby residential streets.
