Decision:
The Council submitted a letter to the
appointed Local Plan Inspectors on 15 January, outlining their
clarified approach to the defining York’s Green Belt with
submission of the updated TP1 Green Belt Addendum main report
(January 2021). The Inspectors wrote back to the Council on 29
January to request clarification of matters pertaining to the Green
Belt Topic Paper Addendum, in particular a timetable for submission
of the associated annexes.
The Council’s letter of 25 February responds to the matters
raised in their letter of 29 January and submits TP1 Addendum Annex
2 relating to defining the GB outer boundaries.
This decision accords with delegated authority provided to the
Corporate Director of Economy and Place in consultation with the
Executive Member for Finance and Performance (with responsibility
for the Local Plan).
