Purpose of report: To inform Members of the positive outcome of the
Referendum and recommend that Members at Full Council on 26th
October formally ‘make’ the Upper and Nether
Poppleton Neighbourhood Plan and adopt
it as Council policy.
What will the report ask Members to do: The report will recommend
that Members note the positive outcome of the Referendum and
recommend that Members at Full Council on 26th October formally
‘make’ the Upper and Nether Poppleton Neighbourhood Plan and adopt it as
Council policy.

Resolved: That the
Executive:
a.
Note the results of the referendum and formally ‘makes’ the Upper and Nether
Poppleton Neighbourhood Plan;
and
b.
Approve the Decision Statement attached at Annex B
to this report, to be published in accordance with Regulation 19 of
the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as
amended).
Reason: To allow the Neighbourhood Plan to progress in line with neighbourhood planning legislation.
