Purpose:

Purpose of Report: To inform the Executive Member of the results of consultation and to present a recommended option for consideration.

The Executive Member is asked to approve the recommended option for construction.

 

Due to an administrative error the incorrect date was allocated to this issue, it will now be considered on 13 October 2016.  The appropriate approvals have previously been granted by Members.

Decision:

Resolved: (i) That the scheme be approved as shown in Annex A to the Officer’s report.

                 (ii) That authority be delegated to the Director for City and Environmental Services to investigate the feasibility of the installation of additional signs for cyclists.

Reason: To improve facilities for cyclists and pedestrians and to reduce the number of accidents involving cyclists.
