Decision details

Purpose of Report: To outline the performance of the Highway Maintenance Service throughout 2013-14, it also proposes a programme of highway works for 2014-15.

The Cabinet Member is asked to take note of the performance/outcomes of 2013-14 and approve the list of proposed highway works for 2014-15.

This decision will be taken by the Cabinet Member at a public decision session on 20 March 2014.

Resolved:  (i)      That the review of 2013/14 and proposals for

                             2014/15 be noted.

                   (ii)      That the allocation of budgets for 2014/15, as

                             detailed in the report, be approved.

                   (iii)     That the implementation of the proposed

                             programme be approved.

Reason:     To ensure delivery of highway maintenance services in an efficient and cost effective manner.
