Purpose of Report: To present the petition from John Street requesting the road be resurfaced.
The Cabinet Member is asked to consider the options of officers and approve the recommendations made by officers.

RESOLVED:                That the Cabinet Member noted the receipt of the petition and approved Option 1 to rank the carriageway along with other grade 3 roads for inclusion in a future scheme programme as in accordance with the approved process.

REASON:                     The priorities for selection are based on a number of weighting factors that create a ranking score; they include condition, safety, location, usage, accident records, hierarchy, affordability and enquiries. Although The Ruddings scores high on condition and safety, its location, usage and hierarchy score lower than some other unclassified roads.
