Purpose:

Purpose of report: This paper provides an update on the implementation of the recommendations arising from the Carers Review, the six monthly report on the indicators being monitored in relation to carers and provides an annual update report.
The Cabinet Member is asked to note progress in achieving the recommendations of the Carers Review which aims to recognise and encourage awareness of the work carried out by carers in York, including young carers.

Decision:

RESOLVED: That the report be received and noted.

Reason: To comply with the recommendations of the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee and to highlight the importance of the work of Carers in accordance with the council’s Corporate Strategy.
