Purpose:

Purpose of report: To inform the Cabinet Member on the work that has been ongoing to refresh the existing Local Council Charter and to seek agreement to the proposed document. The Cabinet Member is asked to: Note the content of the report and to consider the draft revised Local Council Charter.

Decision:

RESOLVED: That the draft revised Local Council Charter, detailed in Annex B of the report, be approved.

REASON: In order to demonstrate a continued commitment to working in partnership with local/parish councils.
