To inform members of new cash seizure powers available to local authority financial investigators and to update members as to how proceeds of crime legislation is now incorporated into the work of environmental health and trading standards services.

That the Executive Member be advised:

 

(i)      That the content of this report be noted and the use of any monies received, in accordance with the Home Office Guidance, be approved.

RESOLVED:That the advice of the Advisory Panel be accepted and endorsed.

 

REASON:                  To ensure the Executive Member and Advisory Panel are informed of developments in proceeds of crime legislation and that monies received are allocated in accordance with Home Office guidance.
