Members are asked to: Invite the political group with the largest
cumulative total of points on Lord Mayor's Day to nominate the Lord
Mayor for the municipal year 2008/09.

RESOLVED: That the Labour Group be invited to nominate the Lord Mayor for the 2008/09 Municipal Year.
REASON: In accordance with the agreed points system and to ensure that the Council secures the necessary leadership to undertake its civic functions.
