Purpose:

Purpose of report: To inform members of the outcome of a tendering exercise to replace the materials used in the Capital Programme Housing modernisation schemes.


Members are asked to: Note the outcomes of the tenders and formally accept the proposals for suppliers and also ranges of materials that will be offered to customers predominantly under Tenants Choice

Timescale: EMAP meeting in January with affect for customers in the 08/09 capital programme

Advice of the Advisory Panel

 

That the Executive Member be advised to agree Option 1, to use the supplier framework and accept the kitchen supplier under Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT), as noted in paragraph 18 of the report.

RESOLVED: That the advice of the Advisory Panel be accepted and endorsed.

 

REASON:      To secure quality and value for money on behalf of the Council’s tenants.
