Purpose of report: To inform members about the
activities of the Safeguarding Adults Board (Adult Protection)
during 2006/07. This outliens the multi agency work across York and
North Yorkshire.
Members are asked to: Note and/or comments on teh work of the
Safeguarding Adults Board.

That the Executive Members for Housing and Adult Social Services be advised to:
· Comment on the work of the Safeguarding adults Board and the issues highlighted in this report.

RESOLVED: That the advice of the Advisory Panel be accepted and endorsed.
REASON: To improve the Council’s response to vulnerable people affected by abuse.
