Purpose of Report:
City of York Council are working closely with the Environment
Agency in the development of flood risk management schemes across
the city, updates from both organisations will be brought to the
Executive Member for further consideration and
recommendation.
The Executive Member is asked to consider the updates detailed in
the report and any supporting presentations, comment on their
content and recommended actions.
Decision:
Resolved: To note the update report and the evidence presented by the Environment Agency.
To recommend that officers prepare a report for Executive to review the strategic development issues relating to the flood defence schemes across the city.
Reason: To update the Executive on work done to progress the five year flood plan for York.
