Purpose of Report: To
seek agreement to re-commission the Short Breaks Service for adults
with a learning disability based at Flaxman Avenue.
Members will be asked to agree to undertake a tender exercise to
procure a provider to deliver the Short Breaks Service for adults
with a learning disability based at Flaxman Avenue.
Decision:
Resolved: That the Executive;
I. Agree option 1 of the report; to procure a provider to deliver the short breaks service for adults with a learning disability based at Flaxman Avenue, York;
II. Agree to delegate the award of the tender process to the Corporate Director of Health, Housing & Adult Social Care in consultation with the Portfolio Holder.
Reason: The current contract expires on 30th April 2018, therefore agreement is sought to progress the tender process and subsequent appointment of the preferred provider.
