Purpose:
Purpose of Report: To
consider a request from the Friends of Chapman's Pond to take on
the management of fishing at Chapman/s Pond and to introduce a
charge to fish.
The Executive Member will be asked to agree this new approach to
the management of fishing at Chapman's Pond.
Decision:
Resolved: That it be agreed to grant the Friends of Chapman’s Pond a three year lease to manage the site.
Reason: To ensure that site continues to improve as a desirable place for recreation and its management remains sustainable.
