Purpose:
Purpose of Report: The report presents the recommendations from the
Local Plan Working Group meetings on 29 September 2015 and 19
October 2015
Members are asked to approve the recommendations of the Working
Group from 29 September meeting in relation to:
• City of York Local Plan – Objective Assessment of
Housing Need
• City of York Local Plan – Economic growth
and from the 19 October meeting in relation to:
· Minerals and Waste Joint Plan Preferred Options
· Protecting Pubs.
Decision:
Resolved: That the Executive note the recommendations in the Local Plan Working Group minutes attached at Annex A of the report and approve the specific recommendations made by the Group in respect of the Objective Assessment of Housing Need and Economic Growth.
Reason: To fulfil the requirements of the Council’s Constitution in relation to the role of Working Groups.
