Purpose:
Purpose of Report: The purpose of this paper is to appropriate land at Huntington Stadium and the surrounding area for planning purposes for development in line with planning consent granted in order to enable the development of the new community stadium and leisure complex to proceed.
Executive Members are asked to approve the appropriation of land for planning purposes as outlined in the report.
Decision:
Resolved: That the Executive approve the appropriation of the land owned by the Council within the areas edged in red on the plan attached at Appendix 2 to this report for planning purposes as outlined in the report.
Reason: To enable the delivery of this important council project.
