footway schemes and seek approval.
Cabinet Member is asked to approve the report and programme of
additional schemes to be completed in 2014/15.
This report will now be considered by Cabinet on 6 May 2014, following advice received that the decision to be taken is classed as a key decision, which should be considered by Cabinet rather than by a Cabinet Member.

Resolved: That Cabinet:
(i) Approve the allocation of £2m to be split evenly between carriageway and footway highway maintenance schemes on the unclassified network.
(ii) Approve the implementation of the additional highway maintenance scheme programme.
Reason: To improve the condition of the unclassified highway network.
