Purpose:
Purpose of Report: To review the Housing Revenue Account Business Plan.
Members are asked to approve the changes to the Business Plan.
This item will now be considered at the April Cabinet to allow officers more time to produce the report.
This item has been deferred to July 2014 to allow time for further consultation including undertaking a peer review with Darlington Borough Council.
This decision will now be taken by Cabinet at their meeting in September in order to allow time to conclude work on the financial appraisal.
Decision:
Resolved: That Cabinet agree Option One to adopt the Housing Revenue Account Business Plan as set out at Annex A of the report.
Reason: The plan sets out the priorities for the housing revenue account for the next 5 years and gives clear messages as to the commitment to continue to invest in the council’s existing stock, the local communities and build new much needed social rented housing.
