Purpose:

Purpose of report: To provide members with details of a proposal to develop an integrated partnership with North Yorkshire Police to improve the way we jointly tackle Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) and Nuisance and improve the quality of life for our communities.

Members are asked to approve the new way of working.

Decision:

Resolved:           That Cabinet agree to the establishment of a multi-agency and Community Safety Scheme Accredited Neighbourhood Enforcement Officer role.

 

Reason:              To ensure that the council actively addresses the issue of anti-social behaviour on our communities.
