Purpose of Report: To receive feedback on the effectiveness of the Community York Fund to date.

The Cabinet Members will be asked to decide whether to extend the current arrangements for a further year.

This decision will be taken at a public decision session on Friday 27 September 2013.

Resolved:  (i)      That the learning drawn from the first two rounds                       of the fund be noted.

                   (ii)      That the scheme with Your Consortium be                                  continued for a third year.

                   (iii)     That the criteria for the third year as set out in                                      Annex 1 of the Officer’s report be agreed.

                   (iv)    That a consultation with regards to arrangements                      for 2013/16 and beyond and to receive a further                             report in April 2014 be agreed.

Reason:     To ensure effective funding of the voluntary sector’s                contribution to Building Stronger Communities.
