Purpose:

Purpose of report: To discharge the council's responsibilities for producing statutory service plans for food law enforcement, health and safety law enforcement and animal health and welfare law enforcement (as required by the Food Standards Agency, Health and Safety Executive and the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs respectively).

 

The Cabinet Member is asked to approve the service plans

Decision:

RESOLVED:                That the Cabinet Member approved the National Service Plans and recommended that they be referred to Cabinet for approval.

 

REASON:                     In order that the Council can discharge its statutory obligations in regard to service planning for environmental health and trading standards services.
