Purpose:
Purpose of report: The
City's current Local Transport Plan (LTP2) is due to expire in
March 2011. The purpose of this report is to inform members of the
responses received from the consultation on the draft 'Framework'
LTP3, prior to submission of a draft Full LTP3 early in 2011. The
outcome will be used to inform the preparation of the draft Full
LTP3.
The Executive Member is asked to: Note the content of the report
and endorse the way forward.
Decision:
Please note that this is a provisional decision as this item has been called in for consideration by the Scrutiny Management (Calling In) Committee meeting scheduled for Monday 10 January 2011.
RESOLVED: That the Executive Member for City Strategy agrees to:
i) Note the contents of the report.
ii) Approve the proposals for taking forward the comments in the responses to the Draft Framework LTP3 Outline Sustainability Appraisal, in preparing the Draft Full LTP3.
REASON: To advise the Executive Member of the outcome of the consultation, and how it will inform the preparation of the Draft Full LTP3 document and its associated Sustainability Appraisal.
