Purpose of report:To ratify the strategy and
agree the action plan to enable the development/improvement of
homeless services across York to achieve required targets and
National Indicators. Affects anyone who has housing difficulties
who maybe at risk of homelessness. Five year Strategy
Members are asked to: ratify strategy before submission to CLG by
31.7.08
Decision:
RESOLVED: That the draft Strategy at Annex A to the report be approved for submission to the Communities and Local Government Department by 31 July 2008.
REASON: In accordance with the legal requirement for the Council to have a Homeless Strategy.
