Consultation process
1) The developer has done extensive soft
market testing with ends users (potential self-builders), finance
lenders, and local MMC contractors.
2) Advice has been taken from both the councils legal services and
procurement teams.
3) A survey monkey was sent to everyone on the self-build register
with a 15% response rate. This survey asked questions around
differing delivery models with over half of those who responded
indicating that they would be interested in a custom build delivery
model.
