This report provides Members with details of the work of SACRE from January to December 2019.

This report provides a summary of home to school transport arrangements across York, in terms of policy; both statutory and discretionary elements, financial position and current pressures and challenges and future options to explore further. 

Members will receive a report that highlights some significant pieces of work, as well as providing an update on Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) and the rise in reporting of child sex offences.

This report presents the Children, Education and Communities Policy and Scrutiny Committee with initial information and the draft remit proposed by the Task Group set up to examine Child Poverty in York.

To consider the Committee’s draft work plan for the municipal year 2019-20.

Any other business which the Chair considers urgent under the Local Government Act 1972.
