Youth Service

Minutes:

Vicky Fuggles, Youth Service Area Manager gave a brief update of Youth Activities in the area.

The Moor Lane Youth Centre is the biggest Youth Service resource at this side of the city.

It is used by voluntary groups as well as Council Workers.  Tutors also use it in term time for 1 to 1 sessions.

There is an evening program of 5 nights per week.  We have mainly young peoples activities but we also accommodate bingo and a dance group for the older generation.

We have a performance group called ‘Rising Stars’ who are now going to do a short demonstration of their forthcoming production ‘Little Shop of Horrors’.
