BSIP Project update

 

3.1

DH to attach BSIP dashboard to minutes.

AM asked how much has been transferred from radial routes to bus loop at the station and how much has the station gateway project cost in total. TH has said all money from radial pot has been transferred to bus loop and will look at getting a cost for how much station gateway has cost.

ADA asked for all projects to be brought to partnership as early as possible so EP forum can have an input. TH has explained P&R information has been presented to the group, money from radial routes is being reallocated to bus loop at station as per ODG sign off. Once we have completed paperwork for City centre corridors this will be presented to the Forum.

 

3.4

Cllr KR explained that the radial routes are not being abandoned these will move over to the movement and place plan.

 

3.5

DM asked if there will be a round 4 of BSIP funding. TH has confirmed there will be bus grant funding which goes to the combined authority and the combined authority will allocate it in future.

 

3.6

NM asked which services will be using the new P&R hubs. TH has confirmed a variety of options are being look at need to review it.

FW raised concerns over the allocation of the bus stops at the railway station. Suggested grouping buses that are going in the same direction together. TH explained that reallocation of bus stops will happen when the bus loop has been created so CYC will only have to a reallocation once.

MM has expressed that CYC should agree which services will be stopping at the park and ride sites before the tender goes out for P&R.

FW raised about issues with class 2 mobility scooters, this will be looked at in more detail with the T&F group.
