2.   Minutes and actions from previous meeting (KM)

 

The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.

 

ACTION

All operators to send photos to CYC of mobility scooter permits.

 

 

3.   Mayoral Combined Authority update

 

TH an update was provided regarding the MCA, Mike Scott is going to stay with them until head of Transport has been hired. CYC in process of sending over ‘wish list’ to combined authority. PT asked if bus loop at station is currently underfunded, TH has explained due to cost increases on station project bus loop is at risk. Moving radial money into delivering bus loop. Funds will need to be reprofiled to deliver this. MH has explained due to cost pressures on the project CYC colleagues are looking at ways to rectify this, increase in costs due to inflation costs and significant utility issues.

 

 

4.   2024 Christmas market review

Core actions have been identified for CYC to draft up and work programme has started to address these issues. Would like to Thank operators for taking part in the process. Great patronage numbers for the P&R. BG asked if there were any discussion taken place regarding designer outlet as this has a large impact on services. TH explained designer outlet was discussed in the meeting a lot of issues were caused by collisions etc which is out of there control. CYC will be arranging a meeting with key stakeholders to discuss issues and what can be done going forward.

 

5.   BSIP Programme

a.   Programme update

City centre designs have been returned from WSP CYC are currently reviewing those. Bus gate is being progressed to protect central corridor this will be implemented by Spring 2026.

Due to issues with the radial routes funds will be reprofiled into station gateway.

 

b.   Reprofiling capital and revenue funding.

TH has confirmed for any future funding asks paperwork will already be ready for the radial routes. PM expressed disappointment that funds are been taken away from other areas to fund an area he does not serve. An email update will be provided on All York family tickets due this ending at end of march.

 

c.   Funding approvals

All unanimously approved.
