DM asked if forum will be involved in consultations for park and ride designs, TH to discuss with Brendan murphy.

First provided update on Access refusals for disabled passengers the details on this are below:

there have been 41 refusals over 3 months. 

27 – bus was full

4 - Bus inaccessible to kerb

4 – Customers refusing to move

6 – Unknown reason.

MM has explained there have been no complaints regarding the reliability of the number 2 P&R service. It would appear reliability has improved by using the new route.

MM has explained the announcements on the Askham bar P&R are being investigated currently and in process of being updated.

TH provided commitment for having full project plans milestones as soon as possible.

Marketing update

 

5.1

LT provided update on the below:

·        All York family ticket is live.

·        Continuing with All young peoples fares work.

·        Paid advertising on most corridors out of York.

·        Press releases etc.

 

5.2

LT explained CYC have a signed contract with bright sparks, Bright sparks would like to join next EP forum meeting to speak about work they are working on.

ADA recommended looking at Leicester as a good place to look at regarding advertising around Enhanced partnership. LT assured we will make sure info is better and we will be making better use of the ITravel website. DS explained reading buses are also a good example.

LT explained Duncan McIntyre will be looking into delivering a passenger charter. CYC are open to suggestions for what has worked in other areas. CYC are also in process of arranging more accessibility days.

RF requested Diversion notifications and temporary stops to be discussed at the ODG meeting.

ADA asked for monthly or quarterly performance data in terms of missed or cancelled services.

Major Project update 

 

8.1

TH provided verbal update regarding station gateway construction, Road closures will be in place the following dates:

·        Friday 19th April – 22nd April

·        Friday 26th April – 29th April

Shuttle service will be provided from blossom street to railway station. York Pullman will be running this service every 15 minutes which will be free for people to use. On street signage to go up and pullman will have staff walking around to explain the service

FW expressed dissatisfaction with the delay in this information being released TH explained that CYC was awaiting on full certainty of this service before we released to the public.

DM asked what information will be going up at bus stops SFr explained posters will be put up on all city centre stops out of centre we will not have the resources to cover this.

DS asked if there is an accessible route at all the station SFr explained there is a route to station but this is quite long.

Cllr PK would like to praise the team for all hard work that has been put in to arrange this shuttle service and running the network as smoothly as possible.

Update on Task and finish group

 

9.1

AM provided verbal update of progress on task and finish group invites being issued out and first meeting being arranged.

 

9.2

FW expressed confusion regarding what the group is, Delay on the group being set up is one issue but believes the group needs to be tighter in who is invited, also no operators are currently on invite list. MM explained that on previous meeting minutes Bus operators will be invited. TH will look into the group and see how this is going to proceed and tighten invite list.

Diversion notification and temporary stops

 

10.1

RF explained there does not seem to be a generic understanding of who is responsible for diversion notifications and temporary stops within the city.

SFr explained this has been discussed in the performance group before that CYC are responsible for all within the city walls and operators are responsible for all outside of City walls, this will be raised in ODG group.
