Approved the publication of reports on the
Council’s housing land supply, annual housing monitoring
update for 2023/2024 and Windfall Paper Update.
Options Considered:
Option A- publish reports on housing land
supply and associated monitoring.
Option B – do not publish a housing land supply figure or
associated monitoring reports.
Options Rejected:
Option B rejected on the basis the Council
would not fulfil its duty to publish information that it is
required to monitor. Such an approach would conflict with the
spirit of operating a transparent basis for planning decisions that
the NPPF requires.
