DM asked if there will be consultations on designs ie. Park and ride designs. Cllr PK explained workshops are in progress for station gateway and these are proving useful for all involved. |

GC expressed it can be difficult to understand what is happening at times with projects would be helpful to have a clear draft for each project. |

Update on task and finish group |

AMc explained we are in process of setting up clear objectives for the group, the group will look at what has happened in the past and learn from it. There will be three sessions detailed below: § 1. To identify and agree the issues & suggest how to remedy. After this session, the group chair will take the issues to appropriate staff/organisations for answers, which will be given at: § 2. CYC to report back on responsibilities, actions that can be addressed, and report on feedback from operators and CYC § 3. A final session to agree outputs and actions

Cllr RM expressed satisfaction that this is currently in progress. Would recommend holding meeting hybrid. CYC appreciate this and will be holding the meeting hybrid. All invites will be sent out by the time of the next meeting. |

AMc explained this task and finish group will not replace conversations in the EP bus forum group. Issues can still be raised within the group. |

Forum aspirations for new elected Mayor |

ADA explained there is already two dates in the Mayoral calendar 8th April organised by civic trust an cycle campaign, friends meeting house and April 23rd online one that York bus forum has organised. |

GC explained general one on transport will not allow time for bus issues and we will hold online one to discuss buses, once we have all 5 candidates will invite them all. Details bus issues and ask views on franchising. Anyone welcome to attend- there will be a Zoom link on York bus forum website. GC to send details to the group once arranged. |

Questions for bus operators. |

GC explained that buses running early can be an issue. MM explained statutory obligation is to stop at time points the rest can be guesswork for when will arrive. |

FW asked if bus operators had any updated figures for access refusals, SF explained there hadn’t been any for east Yorkshire, MM explained he would get this information and confirm. |

GW raised there may be issues with the announcements on the Askham bar P&R MM will take this away and investigate. |

FW expressed the importance of having the audio announcements on the buses. Bus operators in some areas have reportedly switched them off following complaints from passengers who don’t rely on them. |

ML Service 2 park and ride change has caused a lot of confusion. MM will take away and look into this. |
