Purpose:

Purpose of Report: To outline the current position with fleet branding and identity and to make recommendations to the Cabinet Member on the livery of City of York Council vehicles.

The Cabinet Member is asked to: Agree the vehicle livery and branding scheme, including exceptions used for all new vehicles from the date of the agreement. Where possible, practical and affordable, existing vehicles with an expected future life of more than 12 months are aligned with the livery and branding policy.

Decision:

 

RESOLVED:       (i)      That the vehicle livery and branding

scheme, as outlined the report and including exceptions, be approved and used for all new vehicles.

 

                             (ii)      That, where possible, practical and

affordable, existing vehicles with an expected future life of more than 12 months be aligned with the livery and branding policy.

 

REASON:            To ensure a consistent use of the council’s brand and to identify the services it provides.
